Holy Batspin Batman! Skylanders Batspin & High Five Hit Toys R Us Shelves

Hey Addicts!
In an unexpected turn of events Toys R Us released a small stock of Batspin and High Five Core Skylanders as well as the expected Red Hot Trap, Easter Edition Figures, and Wave 4 Traps, Trap Masters, and Cores. Some lucky Portal Masters have found Crystal Clear Variants in-store which is Boomtastic! Congrats to you that have. The shelves seemed pretty well stocked from the pictures I have seen. I couldn’t get out to take advantage of any of these awesome releases that have happened in the past few days. I hope to be able to get out this weekend and get some leftovers. I unfortunately think I will be SOL! 😦
I was really surprised to see Batspin & High-Five but was very happy to know that they have been released. I think they will be rare figures from this set like Hot Dog was for Swap-Force hopefully not. Looks like there are tons of Kaos Traps now so it won’t be so rare anymore. (Ha Take That Scalpers!) How many of you were finally able to add Kaos and the new figures to your collection? Show me what cha got! (I’m living vicariously through you all lol!)

Still Looking For Kaos? I Know Where To Find It!

It’s another lazy Sunday here in chilly Ohio. I hope you all are enjoying the last day of your weekend before you have to go back to school and work. I know some of you have been frantically looking for the Kaos Trap. They are seemingly nowhere to be found besides eBay and Amazon for outrageous prices. Well that may have just changed for just a moment. Is seems that Walgreens stores have gotten some stock of Wave 3 Trap Team traps and guess who is there? That’s right KAOS! So if you still are in need of this villainously elusive trap head on down to your local Walgreens store to see if you can still find him in stock.
I just grabbed one myself along with a Snake Life and Winged Water Trap as of 2 days ago. Sorry I’m just saying something about it I have been busy working on a few new websites and some music projects as well. I’m not sure how well stocked the shelves will be as I got the last of each trap on the shelf when I made my purchase. It maybe a good idea to call around to see what is still available, if they can hold the items you want, or possibly place an order to the warehouse for you (can’t hurt to try). Hopefully some of you get lucky and can get some goodies. If you do tell us about what you find and how your experience was with hunting. Skylanders Trap Team Wave 4 Revealed

Got some awesome news from the folks over at myskylanders.de. Today they released a complete list of what we can expect to see hit stores when wave 4 comes and I’m pretty amped about a few things that are coming. Since their site is in German I took the liberty of translating it for you guys as best I could so here it goes.
We are looking at a projected date of wave 4 being released sometime in March. I’m not sure if that is the US release or if that is the projected date for overseas Portal Masters, but either way that’s good news to me. Looks like there will be six core Skylanders coming in wave 4 included are:
Core Skylanders
- Echo-Water Element
- Rocky Roll-Earth Element
- Spotlight- Light Element
- Blackout-Dark Element
- High Five-Life Element
- Batspin-Undead Element
Glad to see we will finally see High Five and Batspin hit US stores I’m super pumped to get my hands on Spotlight and Blackout they look awesome and I bet they play just as well as they look if not better. Two of the most anticipated Skylanders Trap Masters will finally be making appearance in this wave along with Single pack versions of the Light and Dark Trap Masters.

I just realized about a week ago that Short Cut was a Trap Master. I was already excited to add him to my collection when I first saw him, but after finding out he was a Trap Master I wanted him even more. Thunderbolt looks so BOSS he is definitely a must have for me I want to see how well he plays his attacks look sick! We will be seeing another wave of traps as well included are:

- Rocket Light Trap
- Rocket Magic Trap
- Sword Shadow Trap
- Sword Air Trap
- Sword Life Trap
- Upside Down Guy Shadow Trap
- Upside Down Guy Earth Trap
- Spear Fire Trap

Also listed are 2 Triple Pack Trap Packs do not know what will included in the packs, but I’m sure it will be the same as it has been released in earlier waves as a way to save a little cash and get more traps. Those of you that do not have a Kaos trap (I need another one) will have another chance at getting this hard to get trap before it becomes unavailable again. I’m sure there will be more Kaos traps in the wave but you still will want to get to your local stores early when they go on sale.
There are two new mini packs coming as well included in these packs are:
Mini Skylanders
- Pet Vac (Jet-Vac)-Air Element
- Breeze (Whirlwind)-Air Element
- Barkley (Tree Rex)-Life Element
- Whisper Elf (Stealth Elf)-Life Element
We will also see more of Mini Pack 5 (Gill Runt & Thumpling) and Mini Pack 6 (Small Fry & Weeruptor). There are some things expected to be released as well but not in wave 4 they will have their own separate releases or come in a mini wave. We already know about Nitro Head Rush, Legendary Bush Whack, and Love Potion Pop Fizz, but who else is coming? Here is a list of things we should see from now until at least April.

I’m glad to see Gear Shift will be getting another run she is still around in some stores, but it will make her more available for those of us that haven’t gotten her yet (I need another one of her too lol). I so hope Enigma comes out in a mini wave-like a 4.5 or something I have to have him on my portal asap! Also mentioned in the article are the Easter Edition Trap Team figures, but I’m going to do a separate post about these as I feel they deserve to have a post just about them. I do not have an exact release date on any of this stuff just projected dates or a figure and trap case break down or anything like that, but when I get the info trust and believe I’ll be letting you know. If you didn’t already know this happened… GameStop has released 3 different Kaos Trap Bundle packs. Each bundle comes with a Kaos Trap, Water Trap and depending on what bundle you choose a Magic, Earth, or Life Trap. Each bundle is priced at $17.97 and is available online only.

Winterfest Lob-Star Hits UK Stores Soon

Yesterday I announced that Winterfest Lob-Star is coming to retailers soon in the US, but I didn’t know about a UK release. Well that is no longer the case as GAME UK will be stocking the shelves with this in-game variant as early as December 1st. But wait that isn’t all! If you are a GAME Skylanders Club Member you will get early access to this beautiful figure on November the 29th.
Also I know alot of you have asked about the Kaos Trap and the 8-Pack Trap Pack well I have a little info for you on that as well.
Looks like GAME has received a shipment of Kaos Traps in very limited quantity so If you are still looking I would head down to your local GAME store before he sells out again. As for the 8-Pack Trap Pack Argos has had it listed for a long time with no release date, but there is a rumor that it will be hitting shelves the first week of December as well. 
The 8-Pack is the only way you will get the rare Tiki Tech Trap and the in-game villain variant Steamed Broccoli Guy so be on the look out for these so you don’t miss out. If they are released anything like they are here in the states stock will be very limited so make sure to get yours immediately or be forced to duke it out EBay style. I Hope this bit of data helps you out on your hunt this holiday season. Well I’m going to get some lunch and keep looking for more deals for all you addicts out there.
